How Postural Spinal X-Rays Improve Chiropractic Outcomes

Unlike a physical examination alone, postural X-rays allow us to assess your spine while you are standing in your natural posture. They reveal changes in spinal curves, disc spacing, and areas of structural stress that may contribute to ongoing discomfort, poor posture, or nerve irritation. This information helps us choose the safest and most appropriate chiropractic technique for your individual needs.

To complement X-ray findings, we also use Computerized Electromyography (EMG) scanning. EMG measures muscle activity along the spine and highlights areas of muscle tension, fatigue, or nerve stress. While X-rays show spinal structure, EMG provides insight into how the muscles and nervous system are functioning. Together, they give a clear picture of both structure and function, allowing chiropractic care to be precise rather than based on guesswork.
